Saw the devastation on TV. My heart goes out to you all and prayers to keep everyone safe. I went through a flood in 1990 and lost lots of "stuff". Always thought I was materialistic, but realized it was just that. "stuff" Realized that the important thing was people, not stuff.

We have been seeing some frightening videos of cars being washed away in the floods and some towns looking like lakes. Please stay safe.

All your work is beautiful! Your daughter will be very happy with her new gifts.

So sorry to hear about all your rains. We have had snow and ice, so in for several days. Like you, have made good use of my time.

This is what I have made in the last week, except for the teacher's bag which I made my granddaughter for Christmas. Funnily enough her 19 year old brother thought it was really cool. She has moved to a town in the country for her first teaching job so I have made the cushions for her new bedroom and the needlecase for emergencies. One of the cushions coordinates with a quilt I made for her.

Beautiful work. Lucky kids!! Hope the rain ends soon.
