I now have a 950 sq ft sewing room addition to our house!

I have one word - Jealous!!! I share my sewing room with two computers and a futon (guest bed). I don't own a long arm, nor would I have room for one. WISH! I did find out that my local quilt shop (that I have yet to visit) does rent out time on a long arm if you take a training class first. I plan to take advantage of that... I'm hoping this summer.

Hi, I really like your quilting. How did you first learn to quilt? I am assuming it's fmq? and is it done with a "domestic" sewing machine, (not the special quilting machine)
I am envious; as I am just now trying to learn to control the fabric movement, before the "free hand", nothing fancy like all the patterns we see posted by members of this board.

How pretty! I notice that you've got the plaid running on the diagonal throughtout the quilt. That would have driven me crazy to figure out every where. Great Job!!!

Thank you for your nice comments. I am kind of new to FMQ myself. And yes, it is on my Janome machine. This is only my third or fourth try, so I am far from all those fancy stitches I see on here. I did find out that my local quilt shop has a class on the long arm and that you can rent time on the big machines after you are trained. You might check around where you live.
