i'd post pictures to the world and haul in the mailman to look at it as well! it is absolutely beautiful, the finished product is outstanding! you have every right to be very very proud of your accomplishment!

Well, I haven't hauled the mailman in to see it. Oh wait, we don't have a mailman. There is no mail delivery in our town. We live about half a mile from the nearest neighbor, so I have to content myself with posting and sharing with my guild sisters.

Wow, that is really nice. I love the beginning of fall with the changing of the leaves.

I do too. Years ago I made a quilt for which I appliqued wreaths of fall leaves, using xeroxes of the leaves from around here as patterns. I love all seasons here in the mountains, but early fall is really special for me.
