Your pups are so cute! I also have a Yorkshire terrier, my "monster" Yorkie Tucker. He's the opposite of a teacup! He's adorable, but quite hefty.

Thank you Molly.
Our Yorkies are not teacups, but quite small at just 3kg each.
But "monster" personalities

What do you mean 'our yorkies'? They're mine, I tell you, MINE! I just let them live with you. You KNOW they love me more, Coco even follows me to the loo!

ChubbyBunny 09-01-2010 10:49 AM

All the free motion done on my Janome 6600 without marking - I can't tell you how pleased I am with the result. The quilting has taken just under 3 weeks to finish, because I only did a couple of hours at a stretch.
Thanks for looking!

It's beautiful. I bought the book Hook on Feathers and I've been practicing on scrap pieces. It's so much fun! Hope when I do the feathers on an actual quilt that it turns out as pretty as your quilting.

quilt addict 09-01-2010 03:22 PM

What a spectacular quilt. I have yet to try FMQ. Yours is lovely.

That's beautiful, you have done an amazing job, congratulation!

AnnaK 09-01-2010 04:02 PM

You did a beautiful job. Is this done on a long arm? I would love to learn to quilt on my machine but my problem is the moving layers. I always end up with lumps and pleats in the quilt...ARG!

Harmony 09-01-2010 04:45 PM

I LOVE this quilt! Can't believe you were able to do all that beautiful quilting on a home machine. I've learned to accept my limitations.....

Ditter43 09-01-2010 04:47 PM

The quilt is beautiful...the quilting is awesome!!!  :D

Katrine 09-01-2010 08:55 PM

Thank you so much everyone!

AnnaK - no, not on a longarm, but on my Janome.

I was daunted at the start Harmony - but just worked on one block at a time - the big blocks are 12in. I had ditched around all the blocks in advance. There was lots of thread burying to do because of that, but much easier than trying to "travel" with the weight.

However I won't be doing too many of this size

kim_s 09-01-2010 09:33 PM

Wow, it's a beauty. Your FMQ is lovely!
