The quilt was fun to do using the paper pieced fish and the photos - like putting a jigsaw puzzle together, deciding where everything went. I had loads of suggestions for the name and I loved the play on carpe diem - seize (seas) the day. When I found that photo of the octopus I thought he also went in with the play on "seize" so couldn't resist using him for the label. |
