LOL - I use sewing-line templates to draw the seam lines on the back of each fabric piece and assemble it in a style similar to what they use in the Fons and Porter book: Quilters Complete Guide.
You can see in the picture that after I have sewn it into a big circular quilt top, I still have to applique it onto a background square. I use the iron to crease the square into crosswise and diagonal quarters and pin the circle to that, aligning the longest points to the creases. When I am done with the applique, I will press out those creases. |

wow yvonne, your so right scrolling up and down like that is neat , but could make you feel kinda queeeezyyyyyyyy after a while. but it's a beautiful peice
