This is Eleanor - she is the first stuffed animal I have made - she had a bit of an identity crisis because I sewed her tail onto her head - she thought she was a unicorn - but I fixed her and just sewed her new eyes on. She could use some cosmetic surgery but she is still cute.

Cute!
She's adorable but I have to tell you I laughed right out loud (and here at my desk at work that's rather awkward!)when I read about her identity crisis! Glad she's feeling better about herself as an elephant!!! She's really cute.
Sweet! I need to make one of those for a friend of mine.
Very cute
That is absolutely darling!
It's a good thing she found her real identity; because if she had been a "fat" Unicorn i"m afraid the other animals would have teased her. Eleanor is pleasingly plump but beautiful.
Happy Birthday Eleanor the Unique

Eleanor is very cute. Love her fabric.

I also laughed about her identity crisis. Sounds like something I would have done. Did you make the pattern yourself or did you buy it somewhere. I have always wanted a French Bulldog. We settled on a Boston Terrier though, she was cheaper (don't telly my dog that!). We love her and wouldn't trade her for anything.
She is a cutie!
Very cute!
Tell me that you used a pattern for her and tell me what that pattern is. I'm in love with Eleanor, but I'm no good at getting down shapes like this.
Does she come with other critter family members? Thanks for info. |

Too cute!
Cute indeed. Hello Eleanor. I love elephants.
I found the pattern free online - Hoffman fabrics - it listed in the free quilt patterns - and about 2/3 of the way down the page. You print out the templates and then tape it together to get the shape. I had to put it in the window - then hold my fabric up to get the shape drawn on - it was really fun.

Aaaaww, she's sweet. But just think... if she'd kept her horn, would that make her an elephcorn or a uniphant?
