Merry and Bright
 

I just finished my last of my Christmas gift quilts. This one is for my boyfriend and I have to say it is one of my favorite quilts I've ever made. I just love the colors and the pattern. And I did test it out last night and it was super nice and cozy. The pattern is "Got the Blues" by Karla Schulz from Quilting World 2010.

Very dramatic colors - lovely!

Love your colors, so bright and cheerful. Your beau should feel very loved. I also saw the pattern on the front of one of the quilting magazines and decided to make a scrappy blue and white version for an elderly lady I know. I have yet to quilt it but it is up next on the frame. Thanks for giving me inspiration to get going on it.

It doesn't look very big in the pictures, but it is huge! It's about 96 x 108. I had to stand on my couch to get that picture lol
