I sew right in the ditch and try not to catch the top fabric that was pressed over.

Thank you babeegirl, I am getting some quilting gloves tomorrow, yes I got them and then handed them over to my DH as part of my present along with some other bits and bobs, so will be having a go on my new machine on Boxing Day.

Harmony, that is a really pretty pattern...very soothing to me, especially with the KT fabrics. I love them. I like your cute hand quilted flower :lol:
