This is stack in corner just outside sewing/storage room. NE corner of storage room then east wall of room. Oh, drat, I forgot to rotate the hall corner Does it count that I'm in a wheelchair and can stand for less than a minute at a time? Hubby doesn't have time to help---nor the patience. What I intend to do is hire someone to carry boxes and bins to the bedroom and living room some morning-----------then sort for days---------then hire them to carry stuff back. This mess seems like a good resolution for 2011 |

OMG! This was one of the funniest threads I've read in ages! Thanks to the brave souls for posting pictures of your "creative studios". I especially love where fabric and projects cover chairs and exercise equipment. After all, who needs to sit, and doesn't rummaging around burn calories??

My sewing room is still in shambles from our move. Many boxes still not unpacked. I've got to get some shelves up to hold things. Fabric is literally stacked every possible place. I'm also glad to see some of the rooms on here. I too feel "normal" having a messy sewing room.

I would have to load too many photos. I have my sewing stuff/stash/things in every room... of our home. Yes, that includes the bathrooms with quilting magazines.
Thank you to those of you who have shared pictures. You are brave and I admire you! :-D |
Just got thru this entire thread and I must post how appreciative I am of the pictures. We are all sooooo creatively messy. Merry Christmas everyone! :D :D :D

I can not believe how long this post has lasted.

Connie just had a look at the sewing rooms - oh my gosh, i nearly fell off my chair at some of them. Oh dear me, still in shock! I am going to have to confess that my work area is A MESS WHEN ON A PROJECT, but it gets cleared before i start the next one. My material inside my boxes are a real mess though. Glad to see that husbands have helped out to make their wives space more worker friendly.
I am wanting to redo my sewing room as it really is not one. Next year i plan to paint the room and make a couple of small wall hangings to display on my walls. Should be fun. |
