grannie cheechee 08-09-2011 11:24 AM

Looking Good. I was going to post to keep it covered from sunlight, but you seem to know how to organize. Keep posting!!!

wyoming_quilter 08-09-2011 11:41 AM

OraLee 08-09-2011 02:30 PM

Wow. You have enough thread to start your own store. Never thought anyone could have that much. And I thought my one drawer (sp) was alot.

babyboomerquilter 08-09-2011 02:48 PM

JeannieT 08-09-2011 04:47 PM

Holy Cow!! And I thought I had too much just filling up a 60 spool rack!! Obviously I am way behind!

wolph33 08-09-2011 04:59 PM

I use similar storage for my thread stash also.looks good

Quilterfay 08-09-2011 05:58 PM

You must be working long hours in your Quilt room. Looking good! You will have that room ship shape before you know it.

Remember to take care of yourself and rest. You don't want to cause yourself any more pain. But it must feel good to get some things straightened up.

I am terrible at letting things sit even though it is driving me crazy thinking about it. When I finally get up and do it it ends up not taking a whole lot of time. I spend more time stewing over it. Crazy hay?

Anyway I am very happy for you.

Take care
Quilterfay

unfortunately, that is true,...so I found out.
The good news is, it takes years, depending on where you keep it.
Mine was handed down! ;-)

Becca Bear 08-09-2011 08:14 PM

Great job! Doesn't it feel good to get organized!

Harmony 08-09-2011 08:15 PM

arizonagirl 08-10-2011 08:14 AM

WOW, I'm so coming to your house when I need thread...lol

misoop 08-10-2011 08:58 AM

Wow....so much thread!!! And, I thought I had a good stash!! :)

jojosnana 08-10-2011 01:44 PM

What on earth are you going to use all that thread for? You will be quilting until you are 707.

heyjami 08-10-2011 02:03 PM

Well aren't we ALL? I mean really, I have enough fabric for 1000 quilts! ;-) And I want MORE fabric! But, I am a prolific quilter so it's not going to waste (are you hearing my justification?).

I am not a thread lover. In fact, I rarely change the thread from beige. It's one of my quilting quirks. I may change it when I do the actual quilting of the tops, but for piecing it's whatever's in there already. :-)

Love your thread organization! Beautiful.
