I'm making for my guy cousin for next year. I made him coasters, and I thought i'd have to explain them, but he knew what they were.

That's the only one I did with binding. The rest I just turned and topstitched. Less time.

Not if they're all cotton. I've used mine lots of times without a problem.

Maybe the dart wasn't deep enough. I made my first ones from a pattern and they started flattening. I resorted to drying them over a bowl to shape them for a while. Then I decided to sew another dart on the outside. So far so good.
