Ok the first picture is the finished wall hanging I posted earlier about. I took it outside and it doesnt look that great, but it is in person :) My husband said she is going to cry when she sees it. He will be making a wood wall hanging for it. I did a VERY simple qulting on it. Just around the picturs and also around the borders. I think the letters turned out pretty neat looking. Makes it almost look like lace.

I love this one! I need to do one of these for my daughter's wedding. How did you transfer photos? Did you follow instructions in a book, or what?

MaRanda 12-02-2010 12:52 PM

Beautiful work.... Thanks for sharing. Did you do the pictures yourself or did you take them somewhere to be copied? I am trying to build up my courage to do one each for my kids as a memory of their childhood. Thanks for any info!

I used a pattern from a book, Quilt-Lovers Favorites volume 2 from Better Homes and Gardens. They call it an Anniversary Quilt. I just used photo transfer paper for the pictures.

:D

My husband thought I should put a tutorial up on this board. But I didnt know if I would infringe on any thing, KWIM? I got if from a pattern out of book. I can put a tut up, as long as I dont get in trouble for it hahaha

Thank you everyone. I can't wait to give it to her. She is going to be truely surprised. :-D

pdcakm 12-03-2010 01:07 PM
