Minecraft Quilt - finally finished!

Some of you might look at this and think, "What on earth is that?" I know I would have a few months ago!

Minecraft, for the uninitiated, is computer game - a bit like 3D Lego that my DGS loves. DD thought I could make a quilt as it's "all squares" (non quilter, lol).

Not so easy - as you will see on my previous post here and SlightyOffQuilter responded to my plea by creating a pattern on her EQ7.

It was a challenge, I can tell you, particularly the two that have 256 1" squares............ You should be able to spot the blocks I made first as the points become more 'off', the longer I did it and the more I lost the will to live, lol.

Anyway - here it is. Thanks for looking!

Outstanding. He will love it. And the border fabric is perfect.

How Awesome is that! I have a Minecraft addict in my home and he has wanted me to do one for him. You have set the bar high. I love the border fabric and how it looks pixilated. Do you know what it is? I'd love to use it also.

SlightlyOffQuilter, You are the best also! Thank you so much for working up the pattern on EQ7. I did a search and found it. I know it's a copyrighted game but wish you could sell your pattern, your version is perfect.

Thank you! I actually bought this from y'all - eBay US, lol! It's by Makower UK (go figure) and the selvage says '3202 Metroplolis small squares'. I've got just over a yard left if you get stuck. Don't think it's a recent print.
