Just playing around this afternoon. Wonder how many I have the patience for? LOL! Got my sequence mixed up, too many blues in one spot.

oh munner 03-12-2015 11:28 AM

Awwwww.... how cute.

ManiacQuilter2 03-12-2015 11:30 AM

WOW, that is small. Cute !!

lynnie 03-12-2015 12:00 PM

asdorable, how tiny is that thing????
I'm thinking of doing a regular size.
love yours it's so cute and pretty. are you ,aking a quilt or a pot holder or pillow. it's
just darling!!

dakotamaid 03-12-2015 12:16 PM

Thanks for the kind remarks. It is 5 inches across, may be a potholder. I don't know if I have the patience for alot of them!! :)

QuiltnNan 03-12-2015 12:24 PM

nicely done... i wouldn't have thought anything of the blue placement if you hadn't said something

Doggramma 03-12-2015 12:29 PM

Well, since I love tiny things, I love it! It's really pretty too.

callie 03-12-2015 12:29 PM

Whatever you make out of it - it's going to be very pretty.

Lady Jane 03-12-2015 12:39 PM

It's still pretty !

What a cute little dresden. And, you can't have too much blue!

Tartan 03-12-2015 02:59 PM

Very cute and it will make a nice pin cushion if you put 2 together and applique circles in the middles.

redquilter 03-12-2015 03:01 PM

Love it! If you want to make something big, maybe you could make one or two at a time. Would be an ongoing project.

tesspug 03-12-2015 03:06 PM

Oh, so cute. Just three of them with stems and leaves would make a really cute wallhanging. If you did them in golds and browns you could do sunflowers for fall.

sinceresissy 03-13-2015 04:41 AM

I can see another quill to make with big and little dresdons out of scraps sewed on muslin. I just have three other quilts in my brain ahead of it. I love the little dresdon you made.

lfstamper 03-13-2015 04:59 AM

I Like the color arrangement and the size is darling!

oksewglad 03-13-2015 05:17 AM

Oh how lovely...makes me want to try at least one. Where did you find the pattern?

elly66 03-13-2015 05:22 AM

Very nice - so tiny. I'm not sure I have patience for one:) Great way to use smaller scraps though.

ladypetite 03-13-2015 05:32 AM

I'm going to redraft a mini Dresden so the hole in the middle isn't so big. Looking to do a 4 inch one. Wish me luck.

Ms Grace 03-13-2015 12:23 PM

So tiny. Very nice:)

Thanks for sharing the link!

I think it looks just great. Do what you can and then when you need a break from a project, does a few more. Before you know it you have enough for a quilt.

joyce888 03-14-2015 03:35 AM

That's so cute. We had a shop hop this week and I bought the Dresden that finishes @ 4.5", can't wait to do one.

Elaine433 03-14-2015 04:05 AM

That is so cute. You could always make just a few of the small ones and make some bigger ones. I
have seen lots of quilts with more than one size dresden plates in it.

radarxa 03-14-2015 04:07 AM

Omg! those are so cute!

Love dresdens of any size, but will admit that those mini dresdens do take a lot of patience. Thanks for posting your picture.
