Oh my gosh, that is terrible.I also love the quilt. Sure hope it shows up. How sad, that someone feels that can"t make their own, and be proud to show it off.

That is so sad. It is such a beautiful quilt. I hope you find it.

Wow it is awesome. I can't believe someone would just pick it up and walk away. I guess I still have my rose colored glasses on.

I found two sites for lost/stolen quilts. You might want to post pictures there.

I had a friend who own a quilt shop and found a quilt top that she thinks the lady was going to see what it cost to have her husband quilt it. It was a sale day and the lady left it. My friend asked everyone who came in if it was theirs. After a year her and hubby decided to quilt it. After quilting it the hung it up in there shop. Yep, you guessed it . The owner of the quilt shop came in and asked about the quilt top.The rightful owner was found and she was happy with how it was quilted. That is how quilter should be. I pray that God will touch the heart of the person who walked off with it.

Have you considered placing fliers with a picture of the quilt in the city where it was stolen?
Why not get a local newspaper to run a story including picture.
Was it on display at the quilt shop?

I will keep my eyes open looking for it. You don't know where in the world it could end up.

So sorry that someone took your quilt. It's my opinion that someone who would do that, did it out of a sense of jealousy and entitlement. If someone really loved it and thought they could do that too, they would ask what the pattern was. On the other hand, if they didn't have the skill to make one, coupled with a sense of entitlement that THEY deserved to have such a quilt...

I hope that you will get it back.
