Modern quilt for gift
 

This is a gift for my daughter. I tried to do some fancier “wild” quilting in the middle. I don’t think it’s really “my thing”. It made me anxious about what I was quilting and where I needed to go next.

This pattern is by Zen Chic and it’s called Color Chart. Please excuse the lighting. It’s really very white in person.

Beautiful quilt! I love the pattern for it.And your quilting is amazing! One of these days I will get brave enough to try free motion, until then, I'm stuck with very simple stuff that I can do with stencils and hand quilting!

I absolutely love the pattern, which you executed beautifully. And, you did such a terrific job with the gorgeous quilting in the center. It may not be your 'thing' but it certainly added so much interest to the quilt. Don't stop doing it, it MAY become your thing!
