Don't know what I expected, but that was just too funny. I think a proper burial is in order. Looks like it did it's job well for many years. It's OK to be sad.

All of the posts about this well used and well serviced pizza box brought me to the giggles. I keep things forever so I can understand the group of well wishers to its possible recycling demise but also to the movers on in placing it in a place of honor. I, too, have one of ancient status, and not quite sure what to do with it. Hope you have fared well in Sandy's path.

Sad to see it go and thank you for sharing.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

As a sister box collector, it is nice to see some RESPECT for our treasures.
___, ____,____...that is me being quiet... something that doesn't happen real often, but we must have our priorities in order! ;) |
We quilters certainly are clever. I use a box that a small laptop computer came in years and years ago. The laptop has been gone for a long time, but that box will carry my quilt projects for a long time to come.

You should memorialize it with a quilt of it's own. The Antonelli's Gourmet Pizza Box quilt.
