A moment of silence, please!

This box has held many of my quilting projects in progress for over 20 years. It is sad to see a classic head to the recycling bin! If only it could talk, it would tell you how long it takes me to get through these projects!

Wow! I love the concept, "If this box could talk.." You should write what led to all of your quilts and what has transpired since. Write it from the viewpoint of the box. What a great idea!

This box is in the society of Treasured Containers and has special queenly status.....so we do need to be respectful of the requested moment of silence. diva Club page 4 section b applies.......lol!

I even made my DH take his hat off for this one!

Ahhh ... parting is such sweet sorrow.

Fortunately I won't have to travel that path too soon as my project box is plastic!

So sad to see an old friend go away. We would love to hear all the stories it has to tell.

I had to laugh when I saw the photo. I use Tastykake gift boxes that I get when my brother sends them to us for Christmas every year. I have two sizes and they work well for corralling my PHDs (that's projects half done ... I love that reference!) Sorry you had to part with your box. Is that pizza store still in existence and where is/was it? I cannot quite read the address on the box.

Oh wait, I just biggie sized the photo and it is/was in MD. Seems you still are too. Hope you are taking care of yourselves in preparation for the incoming hurricane. Stay high, dry, and safe. Hope to hear from you on the other side of Sandy.

Just think how much longer and more interesting this box's life was than the lives of his fellow boxes.
