I wish my mother were still here, she has been gone for 21 years in Oct. I still miss her so. Hardly a day passes that I don't think of mother and something I would like to show her or tell her. We lost her way to soon. We were best of friends. I would love to be able to make mother a quilt. Cherish every day you have with your mom.
I made my dad one for his b-day/father's day the year after mother passed away. I had really just started quilting with his king size log cabin. He was so proud of it. Daddy passed away in 2004, and I miss him so. I still have it.My parents and brother and I were all so very close.
