My mom turned 96 yesterday. I surprised her with a lap quilt that I made for her. I think the pattern is Warm Wishes (I'm not good with pattern names.) She loved it. You may be surprised to learn that most of the fabric came from Walmart; only 2 fabrics come for Joann's. The backing fabric Mom gave to me and said to "use it for something"! Little did she know that I would use it for her!

Your mom looks ageless. My mother was like that. the 90's sound old but my mother never seemed old at 90. She died before her 92nd birthday. Sure do miss her. She was sick for a week so we were thankful that she did not linger long. Today is the 18th anniversary of my father's death so I am emotional. I got teary seeing your mother looking well and happy. God Bless her and you too.

She is a young looking 96 yr old, I lost my mom a couple of years ago, she was 93. You are soooo lucky to still have your mom. She looks so happy with that quilt.
