Finally finished! My mother collects whimsical frog figures and doo-dads for her garden. They are everywhere! So, when she requested a quilt for her newly redecorated sun room, naturally she wanted frogs :roll: The pattern is a modified version of Splash Dance from the book Twosey Foursey Quilts by Cathy Wierzbicki. Each frog block is a different batik against the lime green background. The border looks black in the picture but is actually a dark green batik.

Catherine: The frog blocks and inside sawtooth border are stitched in the ditch. The plain blocks and outside border I did freemotion using a leaf and vine template from my Quiltmaker CDs. Next time, I'll have to remember to get close-ups. |
