Beautiful quilts! I sure hope I am still quilting at 91.

Both turned out great. Congrats on your Mother still quilting!

How precious these are and that you get to still quilt with your mom. :)
My mom had a stroke in September that has left her with limited mobility and speech. She was a my dearest quilting buddy but now has moved to GA to be cared for by my dear brother and his family. I miss her so much that I am still totally stuck and have not been quilting these days. You are so blessed! Jan in VA |
They are great quilts. My son would have loved the skate board quilt in his teens. He rode those things.

That second quilt is so beautiful and more my thing. She is an awesome quilter! Congratulations to you both on doing such admirable work.

Great quilts! I want to "grow up" to be your Mom--what a testament that she's still quilting and doing an excellent job!
My own Mom went to a quilt retreat with my sis, daughter and me about 8 months before she died--not feeling well enough to quilt and said she didn't even bring her machine cause real reason she came was to chat with all her friends! Know how you're feeling, Jan. |
Great quilts and for a good cause! Both of your are generous with your time and talents!

Your Mom's quilts are awesome.

I love seeing your Mom and knowing you get to quilt together. My Mom was very, very talented. She made Ball Room gowns, wedding gowns, was a fabulous cake decorator, made beautiful floral arrangements but never quilted. I would have loved to see her quilt. What beautiful treasures those are.
