These are new pictures of my 80 year old mom quilting her dresden plates ( I'm always telling her age cause I'm so proud of her)...Love quilting with her every chance we get.

My mom is in Iowa and I'm now in Florida....but she's coming in May and October....let the quilting and shopping begin. She's 83 and still so healthy. I'm so happy to still have my parents!!!

Pretty quilt! Mom is doing a great job. My Mom quilted right up to when she died at 86 and was still making those fabulous tiny quilting stitches.

How precious! My dm and I taught me to sew when I was little and she and I learned to quilt together when she retired. Mom has had to give up sewing because of macular degeneration. She is almost completely blind. It has been a huge loss for her as well as for me. Savor your memories!
