do a search for celtic coloring pages. there are quite a lot on the internet.

I have a coupla questions, How do you turn the bias strips when the knot comes to a point? and do you stitch the strips with a twin needle and invisible thread?

Hi Ann, when I get to a point I pin the binding at the point then turn the fabric to a 45 or 60 degree angle and stitch it into position. Because the binding is done on the bias it is easy to stretch or manipulate without it looking bulky. I also stitch this by hand with a matching thread colour. I sew the inner side first then the outer as this again goes around bends easily. I have attached a picture that may help you see what I mean. I use a track stitch so that you dont see my stitching. Hope this helps. Regards Sharon.

Bonnie Lass: These are beautiful. My ancestors were from Scotland and when my ex was in USAF we were stationed at RAF Upperheyford, and lived in the village if Steeple Aston in Oxforshire. I miss i and want to do back some day.

We toured Eng., Scotland and Wales.
