Here are more quilts. I figure in the past 3 years I have made over 40 quilts.

This one is paper pieced. I love to paper piece!

Wow, these are beautiful!!! Imagining making 40 quilts over 3 years made me feel dizzy! Nice to see the multicultural work.

They are all so Beautiful.

Lacelady 08-17-2009 12:22 PM

That's what I call prolific - do you have a cook, housekeeper and gardener?

NorBanaquilts 08-17-2009 12:30 PM

They are beautiful, but how do you make 40 in 3 years???

SulaBug 08-17-2009 12:30 PM

WOW -- that kimono quilt is just AWESOME! 40 quilts in 3 years -- do you sleep:?:

redquilter 08-17-2009 01:28 PM

Since you love to paper piece and I hate it - maybe you can make me one of those kimono quilts! I'd be doing you a favor, right??? It's gorgeous! They all are.

SharonC 08-17-2009 01:36 PM

Again, love your work :)

calicocat 08-17-2009 01:53 PM

I am sorry I don't have it. My Sister In Law loaned it to me. I have seen in on several websites. I used the Chinese Lantern from quilterscache.com for the boarder.

calicocat 08-17-2009 01:57 PM

Husband cooks. Cleaning house can wait, weeds have taken over! I just make the time. I will fit in a square or two here and there. I was also laid off for about 4 months my first year of quilting. I finish one completely then move to the next.

I really love quilting. I wish I could just stay at home and quilt. I haven't found one thing about quilting I don't like. The only thing I don't love is sewing binding on. But then when it is done I love the way it looks! YEAH

tuesy 08-17-2009 01:58 PM

You made some beautiful quilts. I love the kimono's.

Jim's Gem 08-17-2009 02:17 PM

Beautiful quilts. Love the Kimono's too!!

mpspeedy 08-17-2009 02:25 PM

Wow! You have been busy. I put together, machine quilted or finished 41 Linus quilts this past month. They don't begin to compare with your work.

sewjoyce 08-17-2009 02:55 PM

Here is a free pattern for a kimono quilt -- not as pretty as this one though....

Very pretty quilt. I am amazed at the amount of quilts you have made. I bet no one who knows you is cold. Tee Hee :-)

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 08-17-2009 05:09 PM

40 QUILTS IN 3 YEARS?!!? Do you sleep?

I don't know how you manage, but the pictures are beautiful.

nursie76 08-17-2009 06:24 PM

Absolutely beautiful!

wraez 08-18-2009 11:05 AM

Absolutely love the kimono quilt...as I've said many times before I love all Asian fabrics and quilts.

I do hope you can supply us with the pattern name eventually!

warm quilt hugs, sue

pennyswings 08-18-2009 11:14 AM

Love all three, they are all beautiful. The kimono quilt is my favorite.
Wow you have been a busy girl, 40 quilts in 3 years, I am impressed!

Mamaskeeto 08-18-2009 12:03 PM

I love the kimono quilt. Hubby bought me a pattern for Christmas of a wall hanging that is uses the same blocks. I might have to dig it out and get busy.

Elsie 08-18-2009 02:58 PM

very nice work

Iluv2quilt 08-18-2009 03:15 PM

Your quilts are beautiful! Where did you learn how to paper piece? Is it hard??

Martina 08-18-2009 04:06 PM

I love the Kimonos! :-)

calicocat 08-18-2009 04:48 PM

I learned to paper piece at a quilt store class. It is not hard once you wrap your head around it. I just love to do it. You don't have to be precise in your cutting or the way the grain of the fabric goes. Put your points are exceptional and you can make so many different "pictures" with them.

Gwyn 08-18-2009 04:57 PM

What is paper piecing? I love the kimono quilt. It is really beautiful. I don't think I've made 40 quilts in my whole life. Good for you :) :)

calicocat 08-18-2009 05:02 PM

You sew your material on to a paper pattern. The pattern is on the wrong side of the paper from where you place your material and you sew on the printed side of the paper.

WOW!----Your work is wonderful and like others it's hard to imagine making (and actually finishing--lol) 40 quilts!

Maybe your husband can teach my husband to cook!

The kimono one is my favorite but we would love to see your other creations!

sewnsewer2 08-19-2009 06:23 AM

You did a wonderful job on all of them!

kd124 08-19-2009 10:50 PM

They are all beautiful except the kimino---it is gorgeous!

JCL in FL 08-20-2009 09:56 PM

WOW I feel good if I get five or six done in a year and you've done 40. They are beautiful. Binding is one of my favorite things to do. I hand quilt mostly so it does go slow.

wvdek 08-21-2009 05:57 AM

40 quilts in 3 years! Dizzy, my head is dizzy, like a wirlpool it never ends...I'm so dizzy.

Yikes how do you do it! Of course I understand as the housework does not get done like it should and the weeds have taken over and....been there but not for 40 quilts. Do you sell your quiltsa and is that how you afford to buy more fabric? Just curious.

Bevanger 08-21-2009 06:31 AM

gorgeous quilts :D

ambquilter 08-21-2009 08:16 AM

All of the quilts are wonderful. The kimonos are so beautiful and the laterns are perfect for the border. You have a wonderful talent for choosing the right patterns and fabric. What is the name of the pattern you used on the other two quilts?

Angie

Diane007 12-01-2012 02:55 PM

The kimono quilt is gorgeous:thumbup:
