Since I probably won't be making anyone big gifts I decided to make a runner for his dining room table. It is smoked black glass with gold flecks in it, very contemporary. When I saw the musical theme I thought that would work for him, not too feminine and has black in it. It's probably the only Christmas decoration he will have in the house.

This table runner looks VERY similar to one I've made, found the pattern at Timeless Treasures site a while ago.
