Ya'all are some mug rug makers!
I saw a way to make hot plate trivets at the International Quilt Show in Houston last year: just make a mug rug, but only close three sides. Slip a ceramic tile inside (you can buy them very inexpensively in many sizes at Home Depot or Lowe's) and it protects your table top, counter, etc. They make quick, cute gifts, too. |
Great Job... I love using up scraps and putting them to good use.
Love them, especially the blue, green, and orange one.
I made 5 mug rugs after I got off the computer this morning. A quiet activity as I recover from pneumonia..
what a neat idea I'll have to pick up some and give that a try with everything I want to do, wonder if I can live to be 100
They are lovely.
Lovely. What size is finished rug mug?
Can tell you really do like to make mug rugs..good job!!
Very nice! This on on my wanna-do list! Hopefully, I get some made for Christmas...that's my plan anyway, we'll see!
Very nice. Ideas for Christmas
They are all so cute. I like the way you used your fancy stitches on your machine. I like the orange one best just because it is orange.

These are so adorable. I've only made on and will be making more.
The orange is my favorite.

These are really cute. What great and quick gift ideas.

Thanks for sharing these neat ideas. Really clever, and a way to use our little scraps. I made hot pads last Christmas like this, so mug rugs sounds like a great idea for our Quilt Show Country Store. I love not having to "bind" them.
How creative you are. These are great.
Love them all. Guess it's
about time I try to make one. Nice work. Hugs, Sharon |

Great mug rugs.
A gal at our church bought a BUNCH of fabric at an auction($7 !!) In the goody pile were a few lonesome quilt blocks. I've made mug rugs from a few of them. Also got blocks enough to make maybe 15 table toppers/runners.
Pics later. I'm hand quilting the mug rugs. And I hate hand quilting. |
They all look fantastic.
I love your mug rugs, thanks for sharing with all of us
What fun ....
Another addictive project ..... |
