Cute--Do you fold the back over the front and sew using a buttonhole stitch on the fold over edges? A great way to use up bits of fabric too.

Chele 05-19-2011 07:23 AM

I cut the backing 1 inch larger on all 4 sides, fold over and pin, then stitch down with a zig zag. hope this helps

Always In Stitches 05-19-2011 06:10 PM

So you just fold the corners or do you cut out a square in the corners or how do you do the corners, because it looks like you do 2 opposite sides and then you do the last 2 sides.

Nettie Phillips 05-19-2011 06:37 PM

You have inspired me to make these as gifts for my Bible Study group. Our small group has met our home all year and we will be finishing up in 3 weeks. This will make a great gift and use up some scraps at the same time. I also like that they are unisex! Thank you for sharing... :D

Those are so cute! I think I will have to try them today. It is raining anyway so I can't work in the yard and I sure don't want to clean house.
