Some of you may remember that I posted a Quilt of Valor for a man I had met at my local Lowes store. He belongs to The Patriot Guard Riders and had asked if I'd make another one for them to raffle off as a fundraiser. The quilt with the eagle is for them. The log cabin Quilt of Valor is for my sons Sgt. in the air force. My son had gone through a really tough time and both his Sgt. and the Sgt's wife stepped up in a big way and helped him through it!! It's so hard as parent to be so far away when your child is in turmoil!! My husband and I appreciated their kindness towards him so much that I made them this quilt and also 2 pillowcases for their children and mailed them out to them. They received them this past week and called me yesterday to thank me and let me know how much they loved them!!

Both are terrific!

I am a military wife and that is absolutely gorgeous! Tell your son thank you for his service and hang in there.

Those are beautiful. I missed the other ones.

I saw the first one. It is also beautiful. I tried you add to a panel and mines did not look as good as yours. You do beautiful work.

They're beautiful! Where did you find the eagle panel? I'd love to do a quilt with that panel.
