My husband gained weight and I have many shirts that I was wondering what kind of quilt I could make out of them. Now I know! Really like your quilt - can't wait to make one for my husband!!

Neat idea!

Great idea, great quilt!

Love your quilt and good suggestion on the pockets. I find them to be the dickens to get off without a cut or hole. I can see why everyone wants your quilt. Trust Bonnie Hunter to come up with endless designs for scraps. Is this pattern from one of her books?

Nice job :)

Neat quilt! Like the pocket idea~

Great quilt! Can old shirts look pretty? You answered the question---YES!

I do like this quilt. Great work and use of recycling materials. Perfectly scrappy.

I know every child with autism is different. I think of some of the children I've had on my caseload as a special education teacher. I can think of one in particular would love the pockets. He loves little figures, bean-bag cats and cartoon figures, etc. What a woinderful idea to leave the pockets in. I would think any child would like them for their "little junk" as my MIL used to call my children's favorite little toys.

what a clever way to make a quilt-would make a great quilt for a guy.
|
Love the quilt.

Beautiful. I made a quilt of assorted plaids and didn't like the quilt I made so I discarded it but still have plenty left over and your quilt has inspired me to go ahead and make this pattern. Love it.

I found the pattern in an old magazine, it is really simple, takes about a full day. I'll look when I get home to find out the name of the magazine
Carrie Bugsmom
Would we be able to find this pattern on her web site or from one of her books or did you design it yourself? I have been saving shirts of my fathers and need to make some throws for my siblings, this seems a perfect size and not to difficult to do... it has been a year now since his death and am ready to begin...
|
Dear Bugsmom, I saw your small picture of the jig saw puzzle quilt. Do you hv th instructions for that quilt or a link. Thanks for sharing..................

This looks great!!! Love the pattern. I also like the idea of using up shirts in the closet that are never worn. Money saver!!!
