Most P*R*E*C*I*O*U*S Quilt Ever
3 Attachment(s)
a person that I know lost her 2 yr old son to brain cancer last Christmas.
she is having a little girl for Christmas this year. this quilt is the one Baby Lola will come home from the hospital in. I asked the person for a favorite piece of her son's clothing to do the label. what she gave me was a very green and blur Thomas the Train PJ top. I had already picked the other fabrics for this quilt and had already known I was going to applique angel wings to the center; with the label in the center surrounded by the words "wrapped within my brother's love". that plan went out the window with a lot of brain screaming trying to figure out how to make this work...went to bed and as soon as I got snuggly warm the idea just popped right up....so I got up and wrote it down so wouldn't forget it. what you see is the idea that popped into my head. Thank you Patrice for being able to walk my brain injury thru how to square this up :) |
