A Mothers day gift I made

Well I finanly got this done saturday evening around 9 pm. Nothing like cutting it close. lol. As for the pattern well I saw a quilt somewhere that had tree limbs on it and it had stuck in my mind sooooo I made this pattern up as I went along. I did not make this for myself. The neighbor girl wanted something special for her grandmother and asked me to make her a picture quilt. Since I am still down in the back and have plenty of idol time I told her sure.... lol..

Love it. I like tree limbs too. I still remember a painting i saw when in my 20's and wished I'd purchased it. blue tree without leaves on a light purple background. nothing else. but it's still in my memory!
