I vote for only one red border also.

Originally I was thinking about that, making a lap quilt but thought the subject matter leant itself more to a wall hanging.
Maybe I will reconsider and go back to the original idea because I do think she would prefer that to a wall hanging.

I like it without the outer red border. Maybe you could bind it in red?
