I used a metal Christmas hanging ornament stand for my cones.

now, that is a neat idea. Love it.

Just saw your second thread stand with the paper towel holder, rats, I put a paper towel holder in the Goodwill just like that about 3 weeks ago.

What great ideas. Never thought of the towel holder as a thread stand. Threw mine away and got one to hang on the wall
