Great quilt, I'll tell the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) to watch out for the rising star!

grannypat7925 01-20-2011 04:30 PM

Very unique! He looks like he might grow up to be a bull rider LOL!

quiltedlamb07 01-20-2011 04:32 PM

We moved from Texas to the Northeast 13 years ago....I still miss so much about the state....Great quilt and so fun for your grandson...!!

Lucy90 01-20-2011 05:59 PM

What a nice idea for the quilt. You are so talented and your grandson is darling. I would say 38 is a good year to ride a bull.

penski 01-20-2011 06:29 PM

BobbiSue 01-20-2011 08:28 PM

Beautiful quilt idea. My son, now 16 years old started as a mutton buster, now he works on a ranch training cutting horses...you have a lot to look forward to!

wraez 01-20-2011 10:04 PM

No wonder that handsome guy loves his quilt, you made it, and it is 1-of-a-kind, just for him.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

nannya54 01-21-2011 04:44 AM

stitchofclass2 01-21-2011 06:07 AM

What a great quilt and a handsome young man.

supergma 01-21-2011 08:10 AM

Thanks folks. This little mutton buster is now 10. Still loves his quilt. Sometimes when he wants his quilt, he has to take it away from Daddy. I have a 1 1/2 yr old ggson who loves everything that goes vroom-vroom. Next project; a quilt featuring something with a motor. I will post the one I made for the 3 1/2 year old soon.

dlspeed1 01-21-2011 10:19 AM

What a great quilt to mark a special moment in your dgs's life! Love the chaps & tiny sheep. Your gs is cute lil' rustler!

lighthouse 02-16-2011 09:38 AM

The quilt is awesome!!! Congrats for your great grandson's winning the contest. P.S. the girls are going to be after him, he is a handsome young man :-) :-)

Toto's Mom 02-16-2011 10:00 AM

Well, you have a winner on your hands!! Both in your GS and his quilt!
My partner is a former bull rider, and if it's in his blood now.....ya better fasten your seatbelt, because next thing you know, he'll be in the PBR., and you'll be trying to keep the "buckle bunnies" away from that cutie.

You know... Bronco busting---mutton busting. It simply means he rode a sheep at a rodeo for ten seconds.
