I know, because I've used the same method to make a quilt but the instructor I took the class from called it shattered or splintered. My fabric choice was less than great (http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-39552-1.htm) and left me wanting to do something better. I would also enjoy knowing what the pattern is - I've seen several of these quilts made from some kind of repeating, "reflecting" design of the blocks,
but yours makes me really want to try this. |
