You have inspired me. I have been eyeing flower applique for years. This year I am going to do it. Congrads for beginning, your project already looks great.

Practice, practice, practice. The more you do the better you will become. Your applique looks very good to me. I think too many times we can critize our own work to death. There are no "quilt police" here as so many have said.

wow -- all look great

Great work. Keep working and you'll be a pro in no time.

Good job.

Your applique flowers look really good.

Good Job!! Esp. for the 1st time. I like the first pic as it appears the flower petals are bending. Great work.
Tighten up you embriodery stitches on the second one. Other pics show flowers and leaves disconnected from the stem. Stems are difficult. I have a hard time with this when my seam allowance is more than 1/8th. Sometimes small prints can work on applique if you starch to keep it from fraying. That is all I can suggest but you are doing a wonderful job. Marla |
Your applique blocks look great. The colors are very good. I love appique but don't do as much as I would like to.
