My 1st BOM
2 Attachment(s)
I'm sharing my completed BOM called Freedom Bound, which everyone said I was crazy to attempt as a new quilter...I thought I'd learn several techniques in one quilt so I went for it. It was a difficult project but got easier by the 12th month so I'm glad I challenged myself. Hopefully the picture displays ok for you to see since I'm testing posting pics with this one.. Also sharing an appliqué project I designed from a water color painting I saw. I love appliquing...

These projects are done beautifully. That quilt turned out great. The fun thing about finished a complex project is that you aren't afraid of the next one. Job well done. Glad you enjoyed the process.

I think you have found your niche. Both projects are beautiful and I tend to wade in to. As someone said, the sky is the limit. You are obviously very talented.

Your work is beautiful! I was told once that a project was too difficult for me. I made it anyway. Yes it was challenging and it would be easier for me now, but I learned a lot from the project.
|
WOW!! You picked a doozy for your first, but did a magnificent job on it. Congrats! Beautiful quilt. And I love your pillow too. If you are a beginner with these two, you'll be a master with the next one.
