My 2011 Christmas gift
6 Attachment(s)
These are the tree skirts and table toppers I made for family this past Christmas. Kind of late getting them on the board, but as they say "better late, than never". I had fun making them and just love the different ways to put together the French Braid look. I didn't get the binding on till the last minute and all had to be sent by post to their individual future owners so I don't think any of the pics are actually showing them as 'complete'. :) The only item I made this year that wasn't a french braid was the Illusions wall hanging for my brother. I would like to enlarge the pattern and make it for myself. It is really a nice one. Enjoy!

VERY nice! Blue grey one is my favorite.

Those are gorgeous - your work is so perfect and the colors are lovely. Is there a pattern available?

Wow, great tree skirts! I would have had a tough time cutting into those beauties.

I love all the tree skirts!! Can you tell me the name of the book or pattern you used to make them? Your brother's wall hanging, while not my style is very pretty.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your beautiful work. Your color choices are so perfect. That (choosing colors) is what has kept me from making a French Braid anything. The author of the books works at our LQS when she is in town for part of the year (she spends the rest of her time in Floriday). Next time she is around I'm going to have to get her to help me with fabric choices because I just have to make one of the tree skirts.

All are stunning ~ nicely done.
