My 4 Patch Posy is Quilted and Done
 

This is a donation quilt that I stacked and whacked into 4 patch posies. There weren't enough so I used a cool alternate block that I saw online (maybe here...). Hope it brings joy to someone. I was rather fond of it myself, but you can't keep them all. :p

The original fabric is in the 4 corner blocks.

Very pretty. I would have problems letting that one go. It has some of my favorite colors in it.

Very nicely done. I bought that same fabric years ago to do a posie quilt. I really like what you did. It has inspired me to make mine. The teal/turquoise really sets it off.

Thank you, everybody... Yes, it came from JoAnn's but I bought it over a year ago. I don't remember seeing it lately at our store, so I don't know if yours will still have it. I think it was in with the Keepsake Calico? I have used up every last scrap that I had! This is the second donation quilt I have made with it.

That is a very pretty quilt--love the fabric/colors.

I am usually not that fond of 4-patch posy blocks because most of them (IMO) don't stand out from each very much. However, by adding the alternate blocks you have changed my opinion. This quilt is beautiful and some lucky person is really going to love it. Nicely done!

Tartan alerted me that this quilt was made from fabric I had requested a few weeks ago. Thank you, Tartan! Jan- would you check your Joann's the next time you go. I would be so thankful if I could have more of this fabric. I did get a nice piece from a member, but would like as much as possible. It is Legacy studio, CP36118 Tigris Floral. I bought all that they had at my Joann's and used it to bind two quilts. My Joann's and the others I have checked are completely sold out. I would have purchased WHOLE bolt if I could have! Thanks!!!
