Great use of color and fabric, our hands can become amazing tools, I like to hand piece, it seems to relax me. Your quilt is beautiful and I hope you are on the mend, I know from experience it takes a long while to mend from back surgery

Beautiful quilt, highlighting your great hand quilting talent. Congrats on your speedy recovery as well!

Terri, I am so astonished that you could hand sew that beautiful quilt when most of the rest of us would have been lying there not attempting much of anything and getting overdosed on daytime TV! You have my admiration!

You reminded me of the saying, "When life gives you scraps, make quilts." You did just that. Thanks for sharing.
P.S I love the quilt.

Very nicely done. Looks like Missouri Star Quilting's apple core quilt.

What a great way to be productive while recovering. Good for you! Great results too - you will never forget this quilt!

I'm amazed that this is your first hand pieced and quilted quilt. You did a great job piecing the curves and it all fit so well. And your quilting stitiches were so evenly spaced and neat. And in addition you did it lying down. Man, what an accoomplishment. Thanks for sharing. Wish you continued fast recovery.
