My beginning "Friendship Stars and Nine Patch" quilt
 

Here is a pic of some the stars I've been working on.... and a few of the nine patches..... I have already put 9 blocks together to make a row..... will show more when I get a few more rows put together.... It is so relaxing to set and sew a few of these blocks together..... I'm getting them done quicker then I thought I would just by doing a few here and there.... These are made with 2.5" blocks..... I love the scrappies......

your bottom right star is sewn wrong. Thought you might like to know before you get to far ;-) It will be nice looking quilt .

Thanks for pointing that out to me.... I wouldn't have notice until I started putting it together.... LOL.... but I just might leave it that way..... ;-)

I really cant believe I did that with that one.... That's one of my favorites....(they're all my favorites...just have some I really like)....... I must have really been tired..... ;-)

Ok I fixed it..... I knew I couldn't leave it that way.... lol......

here is the fixed star.... couldn't just leave it like I thought I could.... lol....

Uh Oh, an asteroid hit that star! Those will make a very cute quilt!!

I still cant believe I didn't notice that star.... LOL..... oh well....... moving on.... ;-)

Sometimes I do that.... but this time I didn't.... if you scroll down you would see that I did fix that star.... just couldn't keep it that way on this one.... but trust me, I will do that..... and have on several... ;-)

I'd say you're off to a great start on your friendship star and 9-patch quilt. It's amazing how much you can get done even working in just short periods of time, it all adds up.

These are easy to get wrong if you let your attention wander. I made a quilt of these and was surprised...and annoyed...at how often I sewed the pieces together wrong.

Thank you...... and I know what ya mean..... I work on them a little at a time and already I have 32 of the stars and about 12 of the nine patches....
