That is a very striking quilt as a previous post said. Nicely done.

For the sashing, I cut the black and the white at 1.5 inches wide, seamed them, then cut to the size of the side of the block (8.5 inches). The 4 patch cornerstones were made with the left overs after cutting the sashing.
