My Dad's Quilt

2 Attachment(s)
My Dad is a very crafty man who did beautiful woodworking and built radio controlled airplanes. So to make a quilt for him he understands the planning and the work that goes into it but, most importantly the love in every stitch.

His face when he opened it, priceless

How thoughtful. He looks like a great guy and , yes, you are lucky you can share with him. My dad, a woodturner died suddenly Nov. 7. He used my snuggle quilt many times in the recliner.

There's so much love put into quilts...I'm so glad you have a Dad to give this to. He looks so happy! Happy New Year to you and yours. Great job!

Carol34446 12-28-2012 03:54 PM

cwessel47 12-28-2012 04:27 PM

Great colors for your dad and a nice masculine pattern. Did you notice his Christmas sweater has the same kind of bar theme?!? I made one for my Dad last year and it was one of the first things he took when evacuating from Sandy. I'm sure he appreciates the love in every stitch as much as mine does!

Jeannette51 12-28-2012 04:35 PM

It is so wonderful to see the recipient in full appreciation of the cost, time and effort put into making the quilt. This is clearly shown on Dad's face and in his smile. A picture is worth a thousand words!! Very nice quilt, love the colors and apparently so does Dad!!!

QUILTNMO 12-28-2012 05:29 PM
