I was just looking at the pics again...are those her quilts on the shelf above the machine? They look good, from what I can see :)

Glad to hear she's going to have a space that's ergonomically correct.
We don't want any sore shoulders or back aches on such a young quilter!

I am totally impressed that you would trust her enough to have a sewing machine in her room. I would inventory your stash and keep a very close on on it. she might start snakeing it and be up all night long sewing. hehe

Isn't that darling. My DGD is seven and loves to sew with me. We each have our own machines. There is the next generation of quilters.

Adorable! Is there another machine in that sewing cabinet that her machine sits on? If so, then she has two machines to use. Looking forward to seeing her finished quilt. Thanks for sharing and have fun quilting.
