My Diamond Jubilee Bargello
 

Thanks to all of you that encouraged me to do a Bargello. I jumped in and finally finished it, just hope there are no quilt police around. Not sure I like the colors but I thought it would be one my daughter would like. No, she chose a rag Christmas tree quilt instead. Oh well, maybe it will grow on me. My camera is not the best to take pictures but you can get an idea. I have to get it quilted now. Well, the colors wouldn't have to grow on me!!! You did a wonderful job and your quilt is just beautiful! Good for you to take the leap into doing a bargello.

The pattern is Diamond Jubilee Bargello by Nancy Smith. Her instructions are great.

wow that is absolutely beautiful......I'm not even a big fan of green, but I love the combination. I purchased that pattern a while back, now can't wait to start. I may even still your color combo if you don't mind......do you mind sharing what the fabrics were????? Again, it's amazing. How many different shades of each color is that?

Just stunning, excellent color choice, it very hard to choose colors for bargellos because you don't know how they will look together. Took me about 3 hours just to pick colors for mine

Crystal, the fabrics are from my LQS. I know one was RJR and one Kaufmann. I just picked whatever matched, black, greens, tan and cream, eleven colors. I would feel honored if you used my color combo.

i adore your quilt...the colors are fabulous...reminds me of an emerald and you did such a wonderful job piecing it...if i made that, i would never want to let it go!!!...it's sooo beautiful!!!
