Thanks and HATS OFF to Dunster for creating the pattern for this quilt. I still have to add the blocks for round 4 (mirror round 2, but these will be all lights), the inner border, and the square up corners..........

Very nice. I really like this pattern.

dmackey 04-11-2010 09:31 AM

This is stunning!

I'm making my "try to figure it out" version in lavender, purple and ivory. I only have the darker blocks in progress right now.

When I get my pattern from Dunster, I plan on making it in blues, navy, silver, and white, using irridescent (rock candy or Fairy Frost) and metallic fabrics (nice Christmas fabrics in blues).

THEN, I can think of a ton of other color combos I would love to make!!!

I have had to work on this around my full time (12-14 hours per day) full time job, and many family things..........but it does go together quickly...........I would STONGLY recommend the purchase of Dunster's pattern, and leaving other UFOs to work on this one........you will not be disappointed!!

One of our BLOG members, DUNSTER, actually created this pattern from an Amish quilt she saw some time ago. She has the pattern and a template for sale....check classifieds on this Blog.
