Happy and attractive colors.
Good job.
Was that a special pattern that you used?

Kathi Kraftyzales 03-30-2011 09:56 AM

Pattern was in Quiltmaker magazine, Nov/Dec 1993. It is a wall hanging of 4 blocks. But I tired after one block. lol ..I made block with cheater applique tricks. I sewed all pieces to used dryer sheets, trimmed edges, turned right side out, ironed, and then sewed down.

That is so adorable. I'm guessing that's needle turn applique? I just took a class at the AQS Show in Lancaster two weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

I bought one of those ironing pads from a quilt show that will not burn, and it works like a dream! Is this your pattern or in a book? can you share? I really really like this basket. So clever!

Hey, what ever works.......and it did.

CoriAmD 03-30-2011 11:45 AM

How lovely! Will this be a wall hanging with one basket or a quilt with many blocks?

Kathi Kraftyzales 03-30-2011 12:50 PM

This is a OBW!!!! Probably frame it or put on a totebag.

Love your dog. I have an 8 mo old Granddog named "Rover Dangerfield Jr." He is an English Bulldog and practically lives at my house. I've never seen the cartoon movie (with his name) but everyone says it's great.
