I'm jealous.

karenpatrick 04-26-2011 04:56 AM

I have always wondered where their shop was. I have seen their ads in mags. Always wanted to go but wasn't sure where it was. I pass through Dayton on my way to my bff in Columbus. I probably should never have found out where it is.

Was just in Dayton newspaper that someone has bought the DerDutchmen and will be rebuilding. The family has other restaurants. It is suppose to be the same type of restaurant when finished. YEAH! Good shopping, Good food!

This is my new favorite place.. I could have spent thousands in there today. I have never seen that much quilting material in one place. I got 10 1/2 yards of material for 48 bucks. that includes 3 yards of Kona Cotton. WOW
They had so much clearance material that was from 3 to 5 dollars a yard. I know I will have to go back. Hopefully soon.

i love red too ;)

I believe it would be fine. There are no steps (maybe one small) going into the building. The back room where the clearence fabric is up about 6 wide steps.. but other than that the store is on one level. However I am not sure a wheelchair could get thru all the isles. they do have have a toll free number Maybe you can call and ask.. 877-666-4245

I love Fabric Shack but I always spend too much money when I go. I am about 45 minutes away but can't resist the beautiful fabric that just jumps into my arms. ;)
